Sales Manager – Tsurumi Canada

The Sales Manager of Tsurumi Canada reports to the Vice President of Sales & Business Development. They are responsible for ensuring the development of Canadian sales by supporting technical representatives in each of their territories. They must implement sales strategies for the division and ensure strategic execution, including achieving corporate objectives. The team under the supervision of the sales director is spread across several branches throughout Canada and represents a group of approximately 15 people.

RESPONSABILITIES

  • Work on consolidating and developing Tsurumi Canada's current clients, as well as recruiting new clients across Canada, while optimizing sales territory management through the implementation of a CRM.
  • Supervise the division's team of technical representatives by setting clear objectives and ensuring regular follow-up. Evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of each team member and act as a coaching trainer for their development, both technically and personally.
  • Develop facilitating sales systems and tools for representatives (price lists, comparators, etc.).
  • Provide technical support to Tsurumi product representatives.
  • Responsible for maintaining an optimal and efficient inventory level, ensuring effective stock turnover to guarantee sufficient product availability for the division.
  • Establish promotions for clients and ensure their follow-up.
  • Participate in the development of the division's commercial offer and suggest, improve, and get involved in the implementation of new products, sales, and marketing programs.
  • Take charge of managing various annual conventions and exhibitions of Tsurumi Canada and professionally represent the company.
  • Participate in monthly management committees.
  • Promote the company's mission, vision, and values to the team.
  • Any other related tasks or mandates assigned by the Vice President of Sales & Business Development.

SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS

  • Hold a university or college degree in sales, business administration, or a related field. Have a minimum of ten (10) years of experience in a position with similar responsibilities, including more than 5 years as a director. Knowledge of the industrial, construction, or rental sector is a significant asset.

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Excellent communication skills in both French and English, both oral and written, necessary for daily communication to conduct negotiations and supervise a sales team;
  • Ability to communicate with employees, clients, Canadian and American partners;
  • Hold a valid driver's license and have an exemplary driving record;
  • Be available for frequent travel;
  • Good knowledge of computer tools such as the Microsoft Office suite.

SPECIAL CONDITIONS OF THE POSITION

  • The person should ideally work most of the time from the head office located in Boucherville.
  • Hold a valid driver's license and have an exemplary driving record.
  • Regular travel is expected within Quebec, Canada, and the United States.
