The Storekeeper reports to the Warehouse Foreperson. The incumbent is responsible for processing requests for parts and equipment for staff in the facility. They are also responsible for receiving products and equipment.
RESPONSABILITIES
- Process incoming requests and distribute parts and supplies to staff in the facility using repair orders.
- Follow up on repair orders.
- Prepare parts for internal orders.
- Perform cyclical counts to ensure and verify accuracy of inventory.
- Store items in the warehouse so they are in order and accessible.
- Create and identify storage spaces for merchandise.
- Ensure warehouse cleanliness and inspect work equipment (forklift).
- Ensure various sectors have enough staff while others are on vacation.
- Load, unload and move pumps, parts and other materials by hand or using material handling equipment.
- Coordinate the receipt of merchandise.
- Check the merchandise received.
- Code and label each part and/or pump in the warehouse.
- Resolve order issues.
- Perform any other related duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE

High school diploma and two (2) years’ experience as a Warehouse Clerk or other relevant experience.
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Knowledge of French, both spoken and written;
- Basic knowledge of English, both spoken and written, sufficient to communicate (approximately 10% of the time) with colleagues from our Canadian subsidiaries and with transporters, as well as to read and understand information in English;
- Basic computer skills;
- Forklift and/or sling hitch and overhead crane operator (an asset);
- Sales training for mechanical parts and accessories (an asset).
