Varied and flexible schedules
Our offices operate on a 40 hour/week basis. 5-2, 5-2-4-3 and 4-3 schedules are possible as well as a combination of face-to-face or teleworking. The factory and warehouse operate 7 days a week on a 5-4-5 daytime schedule only. We offer the possibility of adapting daily hours according to the reality of each person.
Work-Life Balance
We try to offer maximum flexibility to our employees according to the reality of each person, while respecting the schedules and objectives to be achieved by our work teams. Leave is granted to meet personal obligations in addition to the adjustment of daily schedules.
Refund on physical activities
In order to encourage our employees to adopt healthy lifestyle habits and allow them to devote time to an exercise program, we have set up an incentive program through which we reimburse part of the training costs or physical activities.
Continuous Learning
We encourage and support the efforts of our employees who wish to take development courses or training in order to improve their performance in their respective position.
Work-Studies Balance
We believe in the positive contribution that work-based learning can have in the success of our student employees. Studies first, work schedules are tailor-made so that the student’s attention is devoted to their training. Technosub Group actively participates in training center scholarships and gets involved when new programs are implemented.
Purchased Vacation Option/Flexible Time Banking
Certain management employees have access to a program to purchase additional vacation time in pre-established weeks, and our unionized and hourly employees can accumulate up to 48 hours in their time bank. We offer employees the possibility of splitting their accumulated vacation time into hours.
Collective Insurance
Our basic program covers health care, medications, vision exams as well as life, disability and travel insurance.
NEW | Telemedicine is now available as part of the basic program.
In addition, group insurance can be enhanced through our internal programs to supplement the basic program.
Group RRSP
The percentage of the employer contribution varies depending on the number of years of service. Two different investment options are offered to employees.
Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
The employee assistance program includes eight meetings per year for the employee and their immediate family. Consultation services are provided by various professionals working in different sectors, such as psychological, legal, financial and physical health.
Exclusive Group Gym Training
Once a week during lunchtime, a private training session with a qualified trainer is offered to members of the Group to foster practicing physical activity with colleagues, laugh and create bonds. Flexible lunch hours provide an opportunity to carve out time during the day for self-care.
