Informations

The Mechanical Project Manager reports to the Director of Innovations and Continuous Improvement. The selected individual is tasked with studying, designing, and optimizing the production of strategic solutions and innovative processes to enhance the company's procedures and products.

RESPONSABILITIES

Highlight innovative processes to improve the company's methods and products;
Plan materials and specific purchases for different projects and monitor project cost progress;
Design tooling or pump prototypes (2D);
Proceed with the fabrication of prototypes (assembly, disassembly, tests/analysis, mechanics, welding, and machining);
Write mechanical pump assembly guides;
Validate, reference, and manage the plans (Autodesk Vault PRO);
Contribute to the improvement of methods and procedures and ensure quality control;
Perform all other related tasks.

SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS

Hold a bachelor's degree in engineering (mechanical, electromechanical, chemical, mining);
Have 5 years of relevant professional experience in the industry;
Any other combination of education and experience will be considered.

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

Be a member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec;
Be passionate about communication, digital transformation, or digitalization;
Have a good knowledge of French and English (the person will need to communicate with some suppliers and clients outside Quebec);
Use AutoCAD and Inventor software.
