Informations
The production mechanic works under the supervision of the mechanical foreman. The selected individual is primarily responsible for disassembling (estimation) and assembling (repair) damaged pumps.

RESPONSABILITIES

  • Identify, disassemble, diagnose, and evaluate damaged pumps;
  • Repair, modify, or replace defective parts;
  • Connect the electrical components of the pumps;
  • Assemble and adjust repaired or manufactured pumps;
  • Test repaired or manufactured pumps on the test bench and produce the necessary   reports;
  • Proceed with the verification of different types of electric motors;
  • Read technical drawings;
  • Maintain factory equipment and the workstation;
  • Collaborate and coordinate work with other trade teams;
  • Actively participate in achieving the objectives of their work team;
  • Observe production-related issues and propose concrete and innovative solutions to implement;
  • Maintain workstations according to the 5S philosophy;
  • Perform all other related tasks.

TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE

  • Hold a college or vocational diploma in industrial mechanics, heavy machinery mechanics, or electromechanics, combined with one (1) to three (3) years of experience. Any other combination of relevant diplomas and/or experience will be considered.

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Knowledge of industrial mechanics, electromechanics, and welding;
  • Ability to read and interpret plans.
