The Project Manager reports to the Director of Integrated Solutions. The selected individual works in collaboration with a team of designers. They must enjoy working in a dynamic team with varied mandates and significant challenges.
RESPONSABILITIES
- Meet with clients, handle needs definition, concept selection, and coordinate engineering drawings;
- Coordinate material purchase, fabrication, delivery, on-site installation, commissioning, and follow-ups with clients;
- Achieve fulfillment through project completion;
- Be solution-oriented;
- Participate in the realization and implementation of ideas;
- Learn alongside a committed team;
- Propose technical specifications to clients based on their needs;
- Prepare submissions based on the proposals made to clients;
- Administratively manage projects;
- Support Technosub's sales team in Canada;
- Read and interpret plans;
- Perform all other related tasks.
SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS
- Hold a college (technical) diploma in a discipline related to the industrial field (mechanical, electromechanical, or mining) paired with a significant experience of three (3) to five (5) years in the field;
- Having a good knowledge of the mining pumping domain as well as the mining industry in general is an asset;
- Holding a bachelor's degree in engineering is an asset;
- Being a member of the Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec is considered an asset;
- Any other combination of relevant education and/or experience will be considered.
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Proficiency in French, both oral and written;
- Advanced level knowledge of English (both oral and written) to communicate (about 70% of the time) with English-speaking partners, suppliers, and customers (sales, training, technical explanations, presentations);
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and Inventor software is an asset;
- Mastery of Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook, Access).
