The Mechanic works under the supervision of the Production Foreman. This person mainly works to repair damaged pumps.

Description and duties

Identify, disassemble, diagnose and evaluate damaged pumps;
Repair, modify or replace defective parts;
Connect the electrical components of the pumps;
Assemble and adjust repaired or manufactured pumps;
Test repaired or manufactured pumps on the test bench and produce the necessary reports;
Carry out the verification of different types of electric motors;
Read technical plans;
Maintain factory equipment and its workstation;
Collaborate and coordinate work with other trade shifts;
Actively participate in achieving the objectives of the work team;
Observe problems related to production and propose concrete and innovative solutions to be implemented;
Perform other related duties.

Specific requirements

Hold a professional studies diploma in industrial mechanics, heavy machinery mechanics or electromechanics;
Knowledge of industrial mechanics, electromechanics and welding;
Ability to read and interpret plans;
Have 1 to 2 years of experience.

Terms

Day shift work schedule 5-4-5-5-4-5 from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.;
Salary offered depending on experience;
Competitive working conditions including a group RRSP and collective insurance.
