Mechanic

Description and duties

• Identify, disassemble, diagnose and evaluate damaged pumps;
• Repair, modify or replace defective parts;
• Connect the electrical components of the pumps;
• Assemble and adjust repaired or manufactured pumps;
• Test repaired or manufactured pumps on the test bench and produce the necessary reports;
• Carry out the verification of different types of electric motors;
• Read technical plans;
• Maintain factory equipment and its workstation;
• Collaborate and coordinate work with other trade shifts;
• Actively participate in achieving the objectives of the work team;
• Observe problems related to production and propose concrete and innovative solutions to be implemented;
• Perform other related duties.

Specific requirements

• Hold a professional studies diploma in industrial mechanics, heavy machinery mechanics or electromechanics;
• Knowledge of industrial mechanics, electromechanics and welding;
• Ability to read and interpret plans;
• Ability to speak French or English;
• Have 1 to 2 years of experience.

Terms

• Day shift work schedule 5-4-5-5-4-5 from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.;
