Informations

The machinist works under the supervision of the production foreman. This person works to machine industrial pump parts and ensures their quality. Possibility of position in conventional or CNC machining depending on training acquired.

Responsabilities

Machine parts of steel or other alloys on a conventional lathe, radial drill, milling machine or CNC;
Adjust, balance and measure parts accurately;
Evaluate damaged parts;
Participate in the development of plans for part modifications;
Maintain the equipment assigned to care, the workstation and the tools;
Evaluate the scope of the work and its relevance;
Collaborate and coordinate work with different trade shifts;
Actively participate in achieving the objectives of your work team;
Observe problems related to production and propose concrete and innovative solutions to be implemented;
Perform other related duties.

Specific requirements

Hold a professional studies diploma in machining (mandatory);
Have 1 to 2 years of experience.

Terms

Day shift work schedule 5-4-5-5-4-5 from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.;
Competitive working conditions including a group RRSP and collective insurance.
