Financial and Data Analyst

Reporting to the Director of Finance, the Financial Analyst collaborates closely with other departments to provide essential financial information for decision-making. Responsibilities include working with management and subsidiaries to prepare Technosub Group's budget, analyzing variances, and producing monthly reports. Additionally, the analyst is responsible for costing, analyzing investment projects, and calculating key performance indicators (KPIs).

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a partner within the organization, the analyst will :

Work with management to prepare the Canadian budget.
Provide managers with monthly financial data and occasional financial analyses to facilitate decision-making.
Ensure managers have accurate financial reports.
Develop and calculate KPIs.
Calculate financial ratios.
Establish costing with the Purchasing/Warehouse team.
Analyze financial statements and budget variances on a monthly basis.
Prepare financial statement reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
Develop profitability analyses for investment projects, make recommendations, and implement them within the Group.
Extract and format financial data to develop data management and analysis tools that meet user needs and prioritize the production of reports.
Perform all other related administrative duties.

TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE

University degree in finance, accounting or economics.
Holding a CPA designation is an asset.
Relevant experience in a similar position.

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics GP or other ERP software (an asset).
Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft, including Excel.
Oral and written fluency in French; good command of English or interest in improving.
