Communication and marketing officer
Informations
The communication and marketing officer reports to the Marketing Director. The selected individual collaborates with the team in drafting key internal and external messages, managing social media, events, and various marketing-related mandates for Groupe Technosub.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Write and design various bilingual communication tools through different internal and external company communication channels (e.g., press releases, internal newsletters, advertisements, reports, articles, information documents, presentations, and others);
- Design standard presentation tools such as corporate templates;
- Participate in the development of content and strategies to feed the Group's social networks;
- Write, manage, and moderate messages intended for social networks;
- Create visual content for social media and coordinate certain visual creations with external partners;
- Assist the HR team in various tasks related to job posting and HR marketing;
- Collaborate in coordinating the logistics of events and conventions in which the Group participates (booth reservations, coordination, and creation of exhibition materials and communication plans related to these events);
- Collaborate in creating and managing promotional materials;
- Coordinate the production of business cards, brochures, printed documents, and vehicle lettering;
- - All other related tasks.
SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS
Hold one of the following degrees: a college diploma in administration, a bachelor's degree in administration, communication and/or marketing. Any other related field or a certificate of studies whose equivalence is recognized will be considered if coupled with three (3) years of experience in communication or marketing.
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Excellent command of French and English, both spoken and written;
- Ability to draft various communication documents in both languages while ensuring the coherence and quality of messages (in order to collaborate in writing internal communications addressed to the Technosub Group (3 Canadian divisions and 2 American subsidiaries) and mainly Canadian and American clients);
- Excellent mastery of the Microsoft Office suite;
- Experience with Photoshop and/or Canva is considered an asset;
- Good knowledge of the use and best practices of social media management;
- Skill and interest in logistics and event coordination.
