Operation Clerk

RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Receive merchandise (validate the quantity and quality received, then send the receipt request to the store);
• Prepare material shipments (perform the count, pack the pallets and place them in the pickup area, and follow up with the concerned parties);
• Load merchandise into the transport truck using a forklift, loader, or pallet jack;
• Ensure that inventory merchandise is well placed and that the warehouse and work areas remain clean and easily accessible;
• Perform occasional inventory checks and participate in periodic inventories;
• Assist project managers in gathering and preparing the necessary stock for the sites, including the list, preparation, and loading into the truck, and ensure everything is documented before departure. Assist in equipment assembly and perform checks and maintenance upon return from rental;
• Operate the pellet press, produce pellets with solid and liquid solutions;
• Enter and validate data in a computer system;
• Perform any other related tasks as requested by the immediate supervisor.

 TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE 

• Possess a high school diploma, combined with one (1) year of experience in an industrial sector or equivalent experience.

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS 

• Manual dexterity;
• Possess a valid driver's license;
• Possess forklift operator training (asset);
• Possess slinging and overhead crane training (asset).
