***POSSIBILITY OF WORKING AT OUR VAL-D’OR OR BOUCHERVILLE BRANCH***

The project manager reports to the Mudwizard Manager. The selected candidate acts as a central point of contact between customers, engineering, production, and after sales service for innovative sludge management solutions.

In addition to project management responsibilities, the position includes a component related to instrumentation, control, and automation. This notably includes programming, monitoring, and troubleshooting of systems (PLC, HMI, etc.), as well as technical support for connected products. The role combines office duties with field interventions in an industrial project environment.

RESPONSABILITIES

  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee projects, from analyzing customer needs to commissioning the equipment;
  • Act as the primary technical point of contact with customers throughout the projects.
  • Support sales representatives on technical matters;
  • Participate in the programming, configuration, and monitoring of automated systems (PLC);
  • Perform troubleshooting of instrumentation, control systems, and connected products;
  • Conduct technical diagnostics and resolve issues encountered;
  • Carry out field visits for system installation, commissioning, and optimization;
  • Provide after‑sales service and technical follow‑up with customers;
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of products and technological solutions;
  • Document technical interventions and project follow‑ups;
  • Provide customer training on installed systems when required.

SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS

Hold a college diploma in electromechanics, instrumentation and control, or industrial maintenance, or possess relevant project‑management experience combined with a minimum of three (3) years of experience in the civil works and/or mining sector. Any other relevant combination of training and experience will be considered.

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Excellent command of French, both spoken and written.
  • Intermediate‑advanced proficiency in English (spoken and written) to communicate (approximately 40% of the time) with suppliers outside Québec, our Canadian and U.S. subsidiaries, clients outside Québec, as well as colleagues.
  • Knowledge and strong interest in automation, instrumentation, and control.
  • Ability to provide high‑quality technical service to customers.
  • Skills in diagnosing and troubleshooting industrial systems.
  • Knowledge of industrial mechanics and manual work abilities (asset).
  • Knowledge of technical software (AutoCAD, others) is considered an asset.
  • Good understanding of the mining industry and civil works in general would be an asset.
