Technosub is seeking a dynamic and proactive candidate to join its sales team in Val-d’Or and the surrounding areas. Reporting to the Sales Director, the Technical Sales Representative will be responsible for promoting the full range of Technosub products and contributing to the development of sales within the Abitibi-East territory. The selected candidate will also provide technical support to customers and conduct in-depth analyses of applications related to pumping needs.

Responsabilities

  • Ensure the representation of the Technosub products lines in Abitibi-East territory;
  • Resolve dewatering challenges and develop new business opportunities;
  • Share technical knowledge on products and ensure application analysis;
  • Maintain and develop good business relationships;
  • Provide outstanding customer service;
  • Identify new business opportunities;
  • Ensure contract management;
  • Manage and maintain accounts receivable;
  • Collaborate with our Integrated Solutions team for turnkey projects;
  • Contribute to training and to the growth of our clients;
  • Establish the schedule and priorities in collaboration with Sales Coordinators to ensure delivery as quickly as possible;
  • Offer support to colleague at the Val D’Or branch and ensure a regular presence there;
  • All other related tasks.

Training / Experience

Three (3) to five (5) year experience in industrial sales with strong knowledge of the mining industry.

Technical Requirements

  • Hold a valid driver's license as well as a good driving record;
  • Strong skills in both spoken and written English;
  • Ability to communicate with internal customers;
  • Knowledge of the mining or industrial territory are an important asset;
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office.

The person incumbering this job must possess the following qualities:

  • Strong communication skills;
  • Teamwork abilities and customer service oriented;
  • Developed sense of initiative and autonomy.

Work Environment

  • The candidate will frequently be required to travel throughout the territory;
  • The candidate will be responsible for representing Technosub at various Trade Shows.
